The optimisation of bioprocesses, especially in large scale production is crucial to deliver high yield. Our metabolomics platform allows the monitoring of susbtrate depletion and product yield, as well as to ensure optimal substrate quality before production start. Metabolite analysis of media and bacteria over the fermentation reaction revealed a substantial decrease of substrate B in complex media (substrate A) over time.
