Nicolas Schauer, PhD, has longtime experience in metabolomics and biochemistry. He gained his knowledge at the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology in Golm, Germany, one of the leading institutes in the metabolomics field. Furthermore he was responsible for the biochemistry platform and the improvement of crop quality at one of the leading international vegetable seed companies. His main focus was the improvement of crops concerning taste, nutrition and other relevant qualities.
At Metabolomic Discoveries he is responsible for research driven projects, intellectual property and business development in agriculture, food, beverages and new markets.
Sandra Trenkamp, PhD, is an expert in metabolomics, biochemistry and molecular biology. She gained her experience at the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology in Golm, Germany, and at Bayer CropScience in Monheim, Germany. She has worked in the field of crop protection, especially on metabolic profiling as a tool for mode-of-action studies, the improvement of biomass of crops and in the white biotechnolgy industry.
At Metabolomic Discoveries she is responsible for the operational division, quality management and business development in bioprocesses, white biotechnology and crop protection.
Alexander Herrmann has a degree in industrial marketing from the Humboldt-University, Berlin, Germany. He is the co-founder and director of Capsulution Pharma AG. In 2010 he joined the Metabolomic Discoveries management team.
At Metabolomic Discoveries he is responsible for the financial and legal division. He further pursues new business cases and develops new markets.
